In 1995 Ian formed his own Indie label to help promote local artists he loves. In1999, No-Shadow Kick released the very first album on the label. 20 years later the label still occasionally releases new albums with new artists.
Instrumental doom, the soundtrack for the end of the world, Wrong Path is the solo concept of Marc Davey (Coexist, What's in the Fridge?, Shades of Mood) After years of heavy drumming in the Boston music world, Marc picked up a bass and a guitar and began programming some drums. On his debut album Code Blue, Marc handled all aspects of the music. With the addition of producer Ian James offering some songs on the next two Wrong Path albums, it was unmistakable that Ian's sound and influence had taken the project in a different direction. Rumor has it, Marc has been locked away in War Room Studios during the pandemic, conjuring up the next album, returning his solo ways.
